Don’t forget to pack a good pair of walking shoes and swimwear, as you’ll want to make the most of the wonderful hiking trails in the area. Take, for example, the moderate 4-kilometre Sendero Vegas Grandes loop, which will lead you through a lush forest teeming with tree ferns and majestic Cuban pines.
